The Game

Open Shift is a 3D, first-person multiplayer action-comedy game. You play as a minimum wage employee at Hi’s Home Improvement, where dreams go to die. Join your friends as you help customers, operate unsafe machinery, and avoid the managers at all costs, or risk losing both your job and your life.

Open Shift takes place within HI's home improvement store, where players can unlock more departments as they progress and complete tasks. Each department presents unique challenges and obstacles, including different tasks, various customer types, and different floor managers. The layout of the Open Shift store resembles that of a typical home improvement store, with a racetrack-style design that allows players to make full loops through different areas. As players complete more tasks, additional departments are unlocked.

Who is it For?

Open Shift is designed for casual players who enjoy gaming with friends while progressing through gated progression. Players can appreciate slapstick comedy and the opportunity to create fun memories together. While enjoying the game's story-line and arcade-style progression is a bonus, it is not the primary focus.
